About the owner

John Mulroy is a full-time United States Soccer Federation “B” licensed coach with multiple Special Topic Diplomas from the United Soccer Coaches Association, including his Advanced National Diploma.  John is currently coaching with the Colorado Olympic Development Program, runs all of the after school soccer programs at the International School of Denver, does small group and private training focused on individual technique and tactical concepts and has just launched the Downtown Denver Soccer Club.

John comes from a unique soccer background.  He has spent an extreme amount of time around the game, both while playing and in the business of soccer.  John has multiple family members that played professionally; John’s uncle and coaching mentor, Tom Mulroy, played professionally for 13 years, then founded Soccer Marketing and Promotions. John worked closely with his uncle at this soccer-specialized company that has run and implemented soccer camps, clinics, local and multi-city national tournaments, international games, and grassroots programs for companies like adidas, Coca-Cola, and the 1996 Olympics soccer, to scratch the surface.

Being in this environment has led to amazing experiences of traveling the world, attending professional training sessions,  being in the locker rooms with club and national teams until the final minutes before kickoff, and working clinics with some of the biggest world soccer stars adidas sponsored.  Through this environment, John was able to have been coached and coached alongside some of the best and most influential college coaches and retired professional / national team players.

John played at the University of South Carolina–Aiken where they awarded him a soccer scholarship.  John played in 68 matches at the University.   After university, John played in the USISL/ PDL, US open cup, and some of the top men's leagues and tournaments in the United States.

All of this has fueled a love and passion for soccer that John will pass to your player.
